Trewithen is proud to announce the arrival of its new owners Alan, Julie and Alana with the team of Jordan (Head Chef) and Kerris.
Husband and wife team Alan and Julie successfully ran their rehabilitation company for 22 years until they decided to sell in 2014. Alana helped build the business and then decided to embark on her own career path.
At the start of 2016 they decided that with Alan’s love of fine food and fine wines along with Julie’s and Alana’s love of meeting new people, to re-launch a family business.
From the minute they walked into Trewithen, like many before them, they fell in love with the place. After spending time with Paul and Claire and their team it was very apparent that it had a family run feeling which had been the ethos of their previous company.
With Alan, Julie and Alana’s wealth of knowledge and experience in providing very high standards of customer service, and the confidence of gaining a very highly trained chef, Trewithen would not only maintain its place as Lostwithiel’s No 1 restaurant but continue to provide fine dining to both old and new customers.
With the new team “The Famous Five,” they will be carrying on the fine dining experience of its previous owners Paul and Claire, of which its diners have had the pleasure to enjoy over the past 10 years.
Alan, Julie and Alana are happy to have Jordan in the team who will be taking the position of Head Chef after working under Paul for over 6 years, gaining the skills and knowledge to carry forward the reputation of his No 1 teacher and mentor Paul.
